1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using MonkePal ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

MonkePal is a screen time management application for iOS that helps users reduce distracting app usage through app blocking, scheduling, and usage tracking. The App uses Apple's Screen Time API and Device Activity framework to provide its functionality.

3. Subscriptions and Payments

MonkePal offers auto-renewable subscriptions (weekly and yearly plans) through the Apple App Store. By purchasing a subscription, you agree to the following:

  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
  • Your subscription automatically renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
  • Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same rate.
  • You can manage and cancel your subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings.

4. Refund Policy

All sales are final. No refunds will be issued. Since MonkePal subscriptions are processed through the Apple App Store, all purchases are subject to Apple's terms and conditions. If you believe you are entitled to a refund, you must contact Apple directly through their support channels, as we do not have the ability to process refunds for App Store purchases.

5. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the security of your device and account.
  • Granting the necessary Screen Time permissions for the App to function.
  • Any activity that occurs under your account or on your device.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will meet your specific requirements. App blocking functionality depends on Apple's Screen Time framework and may be subject to limitations imposed by iOS.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MonkePal and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption, arising out of or in connection with your use of the App.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
